After much research culminating in a wonderfully informative yarn with Michael, I bit-the-bullet and ordered my "Ultimate Hamping Kit" - TTTM Original Pro Bundle with Hex RainFly, plus Insulated Klymit Sleeping Pad, that can do double-duty in the hammock when camping on the ground - I love multi-functional gear! .. speedy 24 hour delivery service after ordering, and looking forward to educating myself through trial-and-error testing this w/e in the back yard. Intend to over-night in a trial set-up whatever the weather, before Operation Hamping Take One in the bush! .. bottle of wine is for (ahem!) size relativity purposes only.

Excellent speedy delivery of my brand new TTTM Lightest Pro Hammock with TTTM Lightest Straps, the day after they got my order. It's so light compared with my DD hammock and folds down to around half the size. Hoping for a break in the weather to take it out and test it out at my current favourite hammocking spot and gear-testing ground and adjust the ridgeline to my satisfaction. Hope to be able to do a full review soon...

Finally got a chance to try out the Ticket To The Moon Lightest Pro Hammock and lightest straps. The build quality of this hammock is exceptional. The ridgeline organiser pouch is spacious and the mozzy net can unzip almost completely and be stowed away. It's a lot stretchier than my DD Hammock - which is hardly surprising as the TTTM is made of Nylon and the DD is made of Polyester and the fabric feels very soft and comfortable. Very pleased with this purchase. Michael gave really useful advice about the use of the hammock and I get the impression that he's not only extremely knowledgeable, he's extremely passionate about hammocks and hammock camping.

Hennessy’s Design Studio Down Under - Winter 2004
Hi everybody! I've finally found a quiet place to do some more designing. Over the last couple of years, people have made some valuable suggestions of ways we can improve Hennessy Hammocks. I must admit that the pressures of keeping everybody supplied with 8 models has dominated my time and made it almost impossible to get more than a few hours or days at a time to experiment with new ideas. I also find it difficult to focus on design in the Canadian winter when the days are short, cold and wet and the light is low.
And then I found the answer! The sun was hiding on the other side of the planet, so I got on an airplane and found another summer happening in New Zealand. I decided that two summers were better than one, bought a little cabin in the mountains in a town called Athol near Queenstown, have set up a design studio and have started prototyping as many ideas as I can. Hopefully by the time I leave at the end of February, I will have at least a couple of new accessories ready for testing, that will make Hennessy Hammocks even more versatile and comfortable.
